While exploring Higashiyama-Sanjo area, I discovered Meotoya, a shop owned by a porcelain artist.
There is one curious detail about the shop : the artist is painting the design of her works right here, in the back of the shop.
Her works are fun and bright, with a touch of individuality.
With the design like this, you won't be wondering where your tableware is coming from ^^ :
Meotoya is situated a little bit to the south from the Higashoji-Sanjo intersection, on the eastern side of Higashioji street.
