There are people who like dolls and those who don't. The miniature human figures always bring a strange feeling that they are not just simple objects, right?
When I went to the Sacra Building at the intersection of Sanjo and Tominokoji streets in search of interesting shops, I discovered a Japanese dolls gallery called Ningyo Tomo. The dolls displayed here are produced in Studio Tomo in Nara (since 1983).
Some of the dolls wear Western-style clothes, but the majority of them are so-called Ichimatsu dolls and wear Japanese-style outfits.
