Before I actually went to the Fortune Garden, I was always wondering what is in the misterious building with the inscription "Shimadzu Corporation", situated behind the City Hall on Kawaramachi street.
It happen to be an establishment with a small bamboo garden in the central courtyard, a restaurant on the first floor, a wedding chapel and numerous large rooms for meetings and parties.
In the Sky Bar on the 5th floor, you can enjoy a drink with casual snacks (open only in spring/summer period).
