If you're looking for a place to eat lunch in Okazaki park area, for example after your visit to Heian-jingu shrine or Kyoto Museum of Traditional Crafts, try Obanzai cafe Usagi-no-Ippo (literally "Rabbit's Step").
It's situated in a 80-year-old traditional wooden house (machiya) with a small garden, so you won't forget that you are in Kyoto ^^
I ordered obanzai lunch set (¥1,300) with fried chicken and dessert, and everything was very tasty ^^
The rabbit theme is seen on paper fans ..
I found a couple of rabbits even under my tsukemono cabbage.. So cute!
